I'm not going to lie to you, this pandemic has got me like...
And maybe a little...
You're probably all feeling the same way, right?
So I thought, what the heck, let's reminisce on all of the interesting times that we've had together since COVID-19 hit in GIF form. To be honest with you, I can't decide if this is funny or sad, but it's 100% relatable.
When our first concerts were cancelled.
And we panicked just a little bit.
When choir directors pretended we totally had it all under control with Zoom rehearsals.
When we quickly realized that we were going to have to cancel the remainder of our season anyway.
When everyone started asking us to do virtual choirs.
When we learned it might be one to two years until choirs can sing together again.
When everyone started talking about what we can do to make us feel better.
When we came to the shocking realization that we probably also need money for our choruses during this "downtime."
Giving in and making a video recording (or twenty) for our virtual choir.
When we settled into our choirless grooves and found new hobbies.
And then realized that we still miss singing together.
When we learned about drive-in choirs, some people were like...
and others... not so much.
When we realized it's been six months since the start of lockdown.
But then remembered there's still no end date in sight.
When we reminded you that we're all in this together and we'll get through it somehow. (That's now. We're telling you that now.)
Hang in there everyone. We've got this!
