As we stuff our faces with Thanksgiving feasts, chorus managers across the globe are busying themselves with holiday concert preparations.
Want to know a few ways to show your appreciation? Here's what choruses managers are really thankful for:
When chorus members pay their dues in a timely manner.
When people show up to rehearsal on time.
When people reply privately to an email instead of hitting reply all.
And speaking of which, when people voice their opinions in a private setting.
When singers are quiet backstage.
When people stand in their designated riser positions without complaints.
Do you want some cheese with that whine?
When people set up their own chairs for rehearsal.
And when they clean up afterwards.
When people mark their scores only in pencil.
We can't return them with ink, people!!!!
When people recognize and appreciate the herculean efforts of their chorus managers (most of which are overworked and underpaid).
You're freakin' welcome.
A very special THANK YOU to all the chorus managers out there making choir a better place!
